In Feb 2001 Vallent Corporation, then known as ADC Metrica partnered with ASAFF and secured a full turnkey contract to Supply, Deliver, Install, Commission & Maintain their Network Performance reporting tool, Metrica NPR 3.1 to DataStream Technology Sdn Bhd, Brunei. Since then ASAFF has been involved in supporting on a first level basis the solution to DST.

ASAFF has been generating reports for senior management of DST to have a overall view of their networks performance based on industry standard KPI’s.

We have also arranged and conducted special training for DST's various Network Management & Operations personnel to enhance the use of the Metrica software during September/October 2002. ASAFF was awarded the project to upgrade the reporting tool to support GPRS & EDGE data during 2004 which was successfully completed in October 2004.

In May of 2004 ASAFF was awarded a contract to Supply, Deliver, Install, Test, Commission & Integrate on a Full Turnkey Basis A Voice Mail System for DataStream Technology, Brunei. The project was successfully completed and DST launched the service in September of 2004.

ASAFF has completed successfully a trial to upgrade the Voice Mail System to include prepaid (Easi) subscribers & Support Short Audio messaging.

We are content partners to DST providing SMS & MMS based content to DST mobile subscribers.

In May 2002 & Jan 2005 ASAFF successfully executed a contract to Supply & Deliver Optical Fiber Cable and accessories to DST.

In Jan 2003 we successfully executed a contract to Supply & Deliver PVC pipes & accessories to DST.

In June 2003 we again supplied Telecom accessories from Andrew Corporation to DST.

We have supplied a number of high quality outdoor band selective repeaters to DST from our partner Comba Telecom Systems. They have enhanced DST’s network coverage.

During May 2002 we were invited by DST to conduct a 2 week Consultancy Assignment with our partner Tata Consultancy Services on DST's existing OSS / BSS process and the IT application support for these processes and recommend fine tuning and enhancements to the IT systems as also organizational and operational improvements.

The study was carried out and recommendations made and DST have implemented the same successfully.

In April 2003 ASAFF were awarded the contract to Supply, Install, Implement and Commission a Card Management System and Customer Loyalty System for Islamic Development bank of Brunei Berhad (IDBB) . The project was successfully completed and the solution is maintained by ASAFF along with its technology partners.

The highly secure chip based IDBB MasterCard was officially launched by His Royal Highness The Crown Prince of Brunei Darussalam in Feb 2004 and was the first chip based card in Brunei Darussalam.
